What will you do
As an catering employee during the Nijmegen Four Days Marches you will work at Kamp Heumensoord! Super awesome! Heumensoord is a temporary camp. About 7,000 soldiers sleep and eat here during the Four Days Marches. A unique location!
Together with your colleagues you provide the food and drinks in the dining tent. You prepare the food, refill the buffet and serve it out. You can have a nice chat with the soldiers and they have really cool stories to tell! You also ensure that your workplace remains neat and clean. So much variety and fun!
The event will run from July 13 to 22. The soldiers will be there a bit longer than the Four Days Marches lasts. The shifts for the event are extremely flexible. You can work in the morning, afternoon, evening or night. Let us know when and which parts of the day you want to work, and we’ll take that into account!
Please note that the camp is not accessible by car. If you are not from the area, you can possibly stay overnight on site or come by bike or scooter.
Where will you work
As an catering employee you will work for Paresto. You work at Camp Heumensoord just outside Nijmegen (Malden). The soldiers who participate in the Four Days Marches stay here to sleep, party and eat. Before, during and after the Four Days Marches, 7000 soldiers from 30 countries will stay here. The atmosphere is good! Depending on the service, you can wave goodbye or welcome soldiers when they return.
