Position Overview:
The Nijmegen Facilities Director will be responsible for the leadership, oversight, and execution of the Nijmegen NXP facilities organization including operations strategy and programs supporting the site and manufacturing environment (sustainability, reliability and business continuity). This position will provide leadership, support and technical guidance to Operations and Facility Leaders, ensure effective development and implementation of facility maintenance programs and initiatives, and coach and inspire facilities talent to ensure safe and responsible operations within the Nijmegen site. The will Nijmegen Facilities Director will report directly to the Global Facilities Leader
- Provide leadership, direction and oversight for facility operations in Nijmegen and align with Global Facilities.
- Lead and ensure continuity of the ICN8 facilities operations supporting manufacturing.
- Maintain world-class benchmark reliability, tool install and cost performance.
- Drive utility conservation and cost reduction activities for facilities.
- Drive standard work methodologies, business processes and world-wide facilities sharing of ‘best known methods.”
- Support site master planning including real estate and facilities initiatives within the factory environment, including lease administration, office space utilization and efficiency, potential expansion or reduction, construction and reconfiguration, and administration of facilities related services and vendor relationships.
- Assume fiscal management responsibility, including developing financial plans and operating budgets for facilities and employee services spending within factory operations, and provide regular and timely reporting to company leadership, accounting and financial planning analysis teams.
- Ensure implementation of all laws, regulations, and policies as they pertain to workplace safety as well as all other company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive management experience in the areas of manufacturing, EHS or facility operations (4-year degree preferred).
- Strong Technical background (BSc or MSc)
- Extensive experience with facility installations in high-tech/cleanroom environment
- Managing experience in the process industry
- Ability to work effectively in a service-oriented environment, subject to frequently changing priorities, utilizing problem solving skills and sound judgement.
- Ability to be on-call 24/7 and flexibility to support a dynamic, multi-cultural, global organization.
