The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and experience working in an international environment, along with fluency in English and Dutch.Providing hands-on operational support to the ZIM Netherlands & Belgium Accounting teamAssisting in ensuring compliance with internal and external processes, procedures, and requirements, including legal, tax, HR, reporting, contractual, insurance, and other corporate and administrative obligationsSupporting the achievement of team targets and maintaining a 100% back-up structure within the small teamMaintaining a strong understanding of all accounting tasks and procedures within the team to ensure operational continuityActing as a key contact point for accounting matters and supporting the Country Manager and Regional Finance functionsAssisting with financial reporting, controls, and process improvements within the departmentCertified Accountant (Finance/Accounting/Reporting/Taxes)Professional experience in accounting/finance roles within international or global companiesStrong analytical skills, high reliability, and professional work ethicTeam-oriented mindset with good interpersonal and communication skillsSolid knowledge of Finance & Accounting principles and strong MS Office skillsExperience with SAP and knowledge of the shipping industry are considered advantagesLanguages: Fluent business English and Dutch (required)Willingness to participate in regional and global Finance projectsFinance sets the fiscal strategy and oversees monetary aspects to achieve ZIM’s objectives while increasing profitability.This includes planning, organizing and controlling financial activities, analyzing decision-making processes related to cash flow, investments, risk management and financial statements.
