For a leading high-tech chip manufacturer in Nijmegen (Netherlands), we are searching for a Freelance Procurement Manager NPR (6 month – extension option) with a background in IT-related procurement.
The assignment
As a freelance Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Global IT Category as well as other NPR sourcing initiatives. You will collaborate closely with IT management, Executive Management Team members, and international stakeholders in a dynamic high-tech environment.
Key responsibilities
- Leading sourcing initiatives, conducting benchmarks, and optimizing procurement processes.
- Contract and vendor performance management.
- Measuring, reporting, and improving supplier performance.
- Preparing and delivering English-language presentations.
Requirements
- Approximately 10 years of experience in indirect procurement (preferably IT), including global category management and sourcing.
- Strong communication skills; able to engage effectively with business stakeholders, suppliers and EMT members in English.
- Bachelor’s degree; NEVI/CIPS certification is preferred.
- Registered freelancer under Dutch DBA regulations and listed in the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK).
NOTE: this is not a remote role. Relocation or VISA support is not offered.
