Overview
In this role you lead client-side HV/MV electrical engineering for mission critical and data centre projects, shaping substation design, grid connections and technical governance. You collaborate across utilities, clients and delivery partners to ensure robust, future-ready electrical infrastructure. You’ll define concepts, review layouts, and optimize systems for reliability and efficiency, contributing to a global practice renowned for data centre design.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Define HV/MV system concepts and substation design strategies from an owner engineer perspective
- Develop and review HV substation layouts including equipment selection, architectures, protection strategies and earthing philosophies
- Propose system optimisations to improve reliability, flexibility, or cost/time-to-market
- Lead and interpret electrical studies to support grid connection and design decisions
- Manage technical interfaces with utilities, clients and delivery partners; review contractor designs to safeguard quality and compliance
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering
- 8 years’ HV/MV electrical engineering experience in European projects
- Proven client-side substation design and grid connection experience
- Experience with electrical power system studies and review of contractor designs
- English language proficiency (written and spoken)
