IT On-Site Support Engineer
Nijmegen (5 days onsite/week)
1 year contract (freelance) + possible extension
Start date – 1st August
40 hours/week
Fluent Dutch & English
Candidate needs to be living within 40 min travel to Nijmegen
Role Summary:
Onsite Support (OSS) handles all IT hardware devices and support all IT services at our client’s location in Nijmegen. The scope of work includes Maintaining, Analyzing, Troubleshooting, installing computer hardware, software, network, video conference rooms and provide hands and feet support for global IT teams.
Job Responsibility:
Following activities are part of the job (not limited to):
1. Working on incidents and tasks in our ticketing system ServiceNow.
2. Installation of new end-user devices and data migration support.
3. Inventory & Stock Management.
4. Remote support co-ordination and assistance of deployment and decommissioning.
5. Network support (Patching & Debugging).
6. Printer support (Toner/Drum/Wastebin replacement).
7. Support for global projects that are getting implemented at the site level.
8. Support for audio/video equipment in meeting rooms.
9. Assist VIP support with local problems/topics.
10. Support Lab’s and Manufacturing
11. Handling all IT waste disposal.
Experience required:
• MBO degree
• Should have experience in 1st and 2nd line support for at least 2 years.
• Customer Friendly
• Dutch and English speaking
• Experience in supporting Lab- & tool-pc’s is preferred
