pJob Title: Maintenance Engineer /ppJOB SUMMARY /ppUnder management of the Engineering manager, the Maintenance Engineer is responsible for executing the maintenance strategies and objectives at Nijmegen site to ensure enhanced reliability, safety, reduced operational costs and consistent quality of products. The maintenance engineer is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining manufacturing equipment. /pulliImplement robust processes for maintenance and reliability of manufacturing equipment. /liliDevelop skills in troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining manufacturing equipment, and be able to guide and train the technician about the same /liliResponsible for eliminating significant quality issues due to equipment on shop-floor. /liliEngages in execution of engineering maintenance program designed to ensure uninterrupted production consistent with established standards /liliManage spare parts inventory, ensuring that necessary components are readily available for repairs. /liliConnect with equipment tooling suppliers to deliver innovative solutions designing, developing analyzing all critical tooling used in the plant. /liliSupport (Planning, execution reporting) for calibration Preventive Maintenance without any deviation. /liliResponsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level /liliResponsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable. /liliFor those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable /liliResponsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures /liliPerforms other duties assigned as needed /li /ulpEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION /pulliUniversity / bachelor’s degree, Engineering degree or Equivalent in Life Science, /liliGenerally, requires (2-4) years related experience. /liliStrong written and oral communication in English required. /liliExperience in the Medical Device industry and GMP. /liliDemonstrated knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, and procedures. /liliEquipment and Process Validation / Establish Equipment requirements (URS, FAT, SAT) /liliCapable to interpret the vendor maintenance/calibration/qualification reports to verify the effectiveness of the vendor’s work and adopt the outcomes into the process. /liliProject management. /liliMaintenance of manufacturing processes improvements. /liliTroubleshooting and machine design review. /liliProper communication skills; making complex issues easy for others to understand when acting as a core team member in projects. /li /ulpREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS /pulliExcellent communication skills, able to quickly build credibility within the company and the executive management. /liliProven track record of demonstrating collaboration across the organization and at all levels /liliBalanced technical understanding of products and processes combined with superior business and compliance acumen /liliAccountability, with a strong desire to commit, be held accountable and is rewarded for delivering results. /liliCapacity to put the customer central to all thinking /liliAbility to recognize, build support for change and engage in constructive conflict. /liliAbility to make the complex clear and easily understood by others /liliAble to generate enthusiasm for best-in-class performance through the clear personal passion to be the best in these areas /li /ul
