A vacancy for the function Manufacturing Engineer I has arisen within our Manufacturing and
Process Engineering department. A Process Engineer is responsible for the translation from
product design to our manufacturing process. A proactive role is expected in the initiation
and implementation of production improvement processes.
Key accountabilities of the role are:
Coordination of projects focused on the implementation or optimization of production
processes;
Simultaneous Engineering in collaboration with Product Engineering and Quality;
Work preparation of new or modified products from Product Engineering;
Continuous improvement on SQDCME;
Supporting production in the case of process-related disruptions;
Innovation through production process automation (Industry 4.0).
Functie-eisen
The ideal candidate will possess:
A technical bachelor degree (preferably Automotive-, Mechanical, Electrical
Engineering, Technical business administration);
Knowledge of, or affinity with Lean Manufacturing and/or Demand Flow Technology;
Affinity with software, electrical systems and/or data analyses;
Competenties
Knowledge of English language written and spoken;
It’s a must to speak and write Dutch fluently
Analytical and innovative skills.
Full command of the Dutch language is a requirement for this role. If you do not have this command, it is not necessary to respond to this vacancy.

You will immediately be employed by Hyster-Yale. Hyster-Yale follows the metal and electrical collective labor agreement.
You can count on the following employment conditions:
Depending on your years of working and education the salary will be max 4.644 gross a month month (including 8% holiday pay)
27 vacation days + 13 ADV days
Possibility to sell 6 ADV days per year, being 2.3% salary
Possibility to buy (plus 10) or sell (minus 6) days of leave
