RF, Analog & Mixed-Signal Physical Design Engineer

About the Role
As a Physical Design Engineer, you are responsible for delivering fully verified physical designs that meet all technical requirements. Working in a Cadence (Virtuoso) design environment, you will be involved in the entire physical design flow—covering floorplanning, placement, top-level routing, verification, and final design finishing.
You will lead the physical design phase from start to tape-out, which includes:
- Managing planning, technical requirements, documentation, reviews, and quality assurance
- Leading a team of physical designers and ensuring project milestones are met
- Collaborating across departments and with international teams
In addition to executing projects, you’ll also:
- Chair improvement meetings and contribute to process optimizations
- Maintain technology-specific documentation
- Participate in quality and knowledge-sharing sessions across the organization
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or a related field
- Living in the netherlands is a must due leadtimes.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in IC physical design
- Strong proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso tools
- Experience with RF and mmWave design is a plus
- Excellent communication skills (English)
- Proactive, flexible, and a strong team player
