About the Role
As System Integration Engineer Assembly, you will be assembling, integrating, and testing complex high‑tech systems and assisting in solving potential problems that occur during the integration and test phase. You will work closely with an R&D team of multi‑disciplinary engineers and contribute to the development and delivery of new innovative high‑tech systems.
What You Will Do
Design and Preparation Phases
Review and influence module test plans to ensure smooth integration of modules into the system.
Prepare facilities and systems for the integration of new modules and parts.
Assist in the preparation of assembly, installation, and test procedures.
Install and integrate modules and (sub)systems.
Execute test and calibration procedures of modules and (sub)systems.
Document progress of assembly and test plans.
Troubleshoot system issues when problems occur.
Solve and/or report problems during integration and testing.
Validation, Release, and Support Phases
Take the lead in defining problem statements and act as a sparring partner during system issue analysis and solution phases.
Advise on product release status based on configuration data.
Be responsible for acceptance and registration of delivered subsystems and parts.
Provide training to support/service engineers.
Deliver 3rd‑line support for installed systems at customer sites when required.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in integration of mechatronic systems.
Pro‑active, “make it happen” attitude.
Self‑starter and result‑driven mindset.
Strong analytical skills; enthusiastic, flexible, assertive, proactive, and structured.
Ability to interface and cooperate with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
Willingness to travel regularly for field installation support and troubleshooting.
