Truck mechanic – Westerduin – Nijmegen

Do you enjoy working on large vehicles and have a passion for engineering? Then this truck mechanic position could be a great fit for you. In this role, you are responsible for keeping the fleet in excellent technical condition. Thanks to your work, trucks and trailers remain safe and ready for transport across Europe.

Your main tasks include

• Performing maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers;
• Carrying out inspections (APK or equivalent), if certified;
• Checking and fixing equipment and materials;
• Preparing new vehicles for operation;
• Accurately recording and reporting completed work

Jouw nieuwe werkplek

You will join a large, internationally operating logistics company based in Nijmegen. This company specializes in transporting refrigerated goods across Europe, including destinations such as the United Kingdom and France.
You will be working in the company’s workshop in Nijmegen, where the entire fleet is maintained. The team consists of around 12 colleagues. The working atmosphere is informal and supportive, with a good balance between teamwork, humor, and professionalism.

• A gross monthly salary between €3,171 and €4,173;
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer;

Dit vragen wij van jou

• MBO level 3 working and thinking level (or equivalent);
• An APK inspector certificate or willingness to obtain one;
