Value Engineering Intern
Start date: February 2024
Duration: 5 to 6 months
Location: Nijmegen
Basic Requirements for all:
- You should have strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is not a requirement except CTI but other languages are a plus)
- You are enrolled at a university for at least 50% study load for the duration of the internship.
- NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship, you are studying in the Netherlands or have relevant student work visa)
Assignment and key activities:
- Evaluation current ingredient portfolio and scout for alternatives
- Support product developers with recipe development, pilot plant and factory trials
- Horizon scanning for potential solutions that fit within our existing strategic supplier network
Specific Team Requirements:
- Food Science/Technology or related field Masters student
- Classes in Food ingredient functionality or Food physics/chemistry
- Research and lab experience is a must
- You are a self-starter and independent worker with good analytical skills and are highly motivated. Scientific driven and hands-on with a business mindset and good communication skills.
